The long-standing Beehive and Moments books have been replaced by a single integrated textbook titled "Kaveri." This new resource combines literature and language skills into one cohesive study guide.
The syllabus has expanded from 12 to 15 chapters. It now introduces foundational concepts of Arithmetic Progression (AP) and Geometric Progression (GP) much earlier to help students build a stronger base for future competitive exams.
While the total number of chapters is now 11, the content includes modern, essential topics like Earth Science and Simple Machines, with a heavy focus on practical, real-world application.
Under the new rules, students are now required to study three languages (R1, R2, and R3). To ensure cultural diversity, at least two of these must be native Indian languages.
History, Geography, and Political Science are now more integrated. This approach provides a holistic understanding of how society, governance, and the environment interact.
